What is Mogo?
Okay, before we get started, what is Mogo? And why have you probably never heard of it? Mogo is a Canadian prepaid rewards Visa card where you earn cashback in Bitcoin on every purchase and carbon offset every purchase.
It has a ton of helpful features and is a fantastic way to get control of your spending while offering way more than a traditional debit card or savings account. It is fairly new, but is gaining quite a bit of traction with over one and a half million Canadian users.

Mogo offers an impressive range of tools to help you grow towards financial health, and I wanted to take some time to discuss the ones I find most helpful:
Control your spending
Mogo works on the basic level as a standard prepaid Visa card — simply load up your card from any Canadian bank by direct transfer or Interac e-transfer, and spend. Mogo encourages you to use their card as a budgeting tool — decide how much money you have to spend every week/fortnight/month, load it onto your Mogo card. And then only spend what is available on the card, and don’t dip into your chequing or savings account…
